In Hard to Love, you follow along in the life of the main character and get to see what happened in the past as well as how things are going now. It starts when he is a teenager and fell in love with a person who forever changed his life. Then when he is an adult you get to see the weird people who raised him, a strange situation where there's a married couple with marriage woes along with the three neighbors who helped mold his past.
