In Hard to Love, your character is trying to figure out why his life has turned out so wrong. After nearly dying he thinks about the past and how the love of his life left him to raise their daughter on his own. He was broke so had to move back to his parents' home where the family is pretty dysfunctional, which doesn't help anything. Should he try to get back with his former love or try someone new?
